*AAJ announced the opinion that the amendment to the Long Term Care Insurance which is scheduled to take effect on 1st April 2012 will increase co-payment and cause difficulty to use services for the people who need.

* My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 52. Now she is 61 years old and at the end of life stage. I am taking care of her at home and my love for her is getting stronger and stronger as the time to say good-bye is approaching. People around me say that I should not do too much or will get ill through overwork. I think they cannot understand our relationship. The general inclination to use social services tends to forget humanity. (66 year-old-man)
* My husband was diagnosed dementia when he was 52 years old and now he is 61 year old. He was willingly admitted to the hospital at the early stage of dementia and has been there for 10 years.
Though some of the carers say that caring at home is the best way, I do not think so. He is enjoying the daily activity program at the hospital. It is too much and too long for me to take care of him at home with younger onset dementia. (59 year-old-woman)
